TXP Expands Group with Acquisition of Vigil
Deal expands TXP’s existing cloud skills and service delivery capabilities supporting its strategy to create a UK leading digital transformation provider.
TXP is pleased to announce the acquisition of Vigil, an AWS Select Tier Services Partner, in its journey to develop a UK leading digital transformation business, delivering consulting, development and technology resourcing solutions, at pace and scale, to a diversified blue chip customer base.
Vigil has deep expertise in AWS-based cloud transformation, software engineering and tech advisory services, which will complement and further expand TXP’s existing cloud skills and service delivery capabilities.
With a dedicated technology team of nearly 100 people based largely in Portugal and Brazil, Vigil brings an impressive client list including the likes of ITV, Trainline, Convex and DC Thomson Group. The addition of Vigil’s software engineering capability will expand TXP’s nearshore and offshore offering, supporting the company’s strategy of providing value for money without compromising on quality.

The acquisition is aligned with Aliter Capital’s buy and build strategy to create a UK leading digital transformation provider. Aliter is focused on adding further relevant skills and capability to TXP through acquisitions and supporting the company’s organic growth. Vigil is The Group’s fourth acquisition, following the deal to acquire Gen modernisation specialist Metatech in May 2025.
